Job description
Join a dynamic, collaborative team driving the migration and modernization of regulatory reporting applications for a leading financial services organization. As a core member of an Agile Scrum team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering robust data governance, protection, and management solutions. You’ll work at the forefront of data engineering, participating in high-impact projects that shape strategic regulatory reporting and advance the firm’s data platform capabilities., Drive end-to-end migration of regulatory reporting applications to a modern data platform, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and ETL processes using Informatica, Oracle, Python, PySpark, Hadoop, and Hive.
- Support platform development, production operations, and automation initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Collaborate daily with Scrum Master, technology leads, QA, release management, and business stakeholders to meet delivery goals.
- Proactively identify blockers, escalate risks, and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
- Deliver maintainable, well-tested code, and provide urgent support for production issues as needed.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to automate processes and improve operational workflows.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, management, and governance.
- Hands-on expertise in Informatica, Oracle, Autosys, Python, PySpark, Hadoop, Hive for large-scale data pipeline development and support.
- 3+ years operating within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools: Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible, or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional team collaboration.
- Track record in regulatory reporting, banking, or financial services environments.
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated ability to build CI/CD pipelines from the ground up.
- Proficiency with UNIX shell scripting.
- Previous experience with Bank of America enterprise systems, standards, and processes.
