Job description
As Tier 1 Cyber Security Analyst, you know the secrets of assessing security alerts, recognising risk and acting quickly when Rabobank needs protection. You monitor incoming alerts, triage them during your shift and decide what needs follow-up. In practice, you work with colleagues in Security Operations to keep improving security monitoring and the way Rabobank responds to possible threats.

Top 3 responsibilities
- Triage and close security alerts by assessing what happened, what the risk is and what follow-up is needed.
- Act as the first point of contact during your shift when colleagues need support with security alerts.
- Improve the security monitoring landscape together with your team by sharing ideas, lessons learned and practical improvements.
You are eager to learn, passionate about cyber security and keen to grow fast. You work in an agile environment where you learn from experienced specialists and actively help develop Security Operations services.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience triaging and investigating security alerts and incidents.
- Understanding of attacker behaviour and the cyber kill chain.
- One or more relevant qualifications, such as BTL1, CEH, GSEC or SC-200.
- Keen to learn, grow your skills and learn from mistakes once.
- Creative enough to think like an attacker.
- Strong judgement and decision-making: fast, careful and one-time-right.

- Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,105 and EUR 5,862 (scale 08) for a 36-hour work week.
