Software Engineer

• Integrate innovative functionalities with third-party payment systems to expand product capabilities.
• Own the development lifecycle for assigned backlog items, ensuring timely and high-quality sprint deliverables.
• Engage in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement through sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Support and Help Desk, to triage and resolve field issues.
• Review technical designs and perform thorough code reviews to uphold stringent quality standards.
• Champion best practices in OOP, SOLID principles, and multi-threaded programming to drive technical excellence.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Windows-based software engineering.
• Proficient in C#, .NET Core, and RESTful API development.
• Strong grasp of front-end technologies: Angular, HTML5, React.
• Solid experience in at least one virtualization technology: Docker, Kubernetes, or VMWare.
• Demonstrated expertise in OOPS, SOLID principles, and multi-threaded programming.
• Proven ability to deliver results independently with minimal supervision in both remote and onsite settings.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

[Preferred Skills]

• Experience with payment software, point of sale, or EPS systems.
• Knowledge of EMV, P2PE, PCI PA-DSS, or similar payment standards.
• Background in real-time embedded development, especially Windows CE 6.0, Windows IoT, or Windows 10.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP socket, serial/USB/video/audio communication.
• Prior work with .NET Compact Framework, C#, VB, and Visual Studio 2008 IDE.
• Exposure to JIRA, Bitbucket, Visual Studio Team Explorer, SourceTree.
• Understanding of SignalR and RabbitMQ technologies.
