Systems Engineering Tools Administrator

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience \n

• Experience in the application of engineering tools/solutions in two or more of the following Systems and Software Engineering capability areas: Requirements and Test \n

• Experience with Agile or Model Based Engineering practices, tools, and methods \n

• Admin experience with Windows and Linux, along with scripting / automation with the ability to troubleshoot / solve complex problems. \n

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. \n, * Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) \n

• Strong communication, presentation, and people skills with ability to interface with senior lead engineers and program management personnel \n

• Program experience in roles of increasing technical leadership and responsibility

• Manage deployments, upgrades and support for Systems Engineering tools including testing, data backups, compliance, tool integrations & configurations \n

• Apply technical expertise in Systems Engineering to engage with programs on the implementation of Systems Engineering solutions \n

• Deploy desktop Systems Engineering solutions to programs \n

• Identify, document, and champion best practices and improvements which help increase the efficiency of our software deployment and support \n

• Work with program Engineers to plan and implement migrations off legacy Systems Engineering applications to modern tools \n

• Develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity \n

\n, * Detailed working knowledge of Requirements and Testing tools (i.e. IBM tooling - DOORS/DNG, Rational Publishing Engine and Rational Directory Server) \n

• Systems, Software, and IV&V Engineering Processes and Integrated Product Development Process (IPDP), best practices, and work instructions expertise \n

\n, The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.\n
