Job description

At Alter Domus, we are looking for a Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer who gets things done. Someone who rolls up their sleeves, digs into complex infrastructure problems, and owns them through to resolution. You will be part of a team operating mission-critical environments in the financial services sector where uptime, speed, and precision are non-negotiable.

This is a hands-on role. You will be troubleshooting, building, improving, and maintaining infrastructure day to day, working under pressure, adapting quickly to change, and taking full ownership of the platforms you touch., * Operate, maintain, and continuously improve on-premises and cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure incidents quickly and effectively, you are the person who finds the root cause and fixes it.
  • Implement infrastructure changes, upgrades, and improvements following change management processes in a regulated environment.
  • Build and maintain hybrid cloud connectivity between datacenters and cloud platforms.
  • Configure and manage high availability and disaster recovery mechanisms, ensuring RTO/RPO targets are always met.
  • Manage and improve Citrix, VMware virtualisation environments, SAN/NAS storage, and backup/recovery platforms.
  • Work with container platforms: deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Kubernetes and OpenShift workloads.
  • Enforce security controls across infrastructure - network segmentation, Zero Trust, IAM, PAM, MFA and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Monitor infrastructure health, respond to alerts, and drive proactive capacity and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams to implement technical requirements correctly and on time., We are in the business of equity, in every sense of the word.
