Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with product, frontend, design and QA to scope features and ensure smooth experiences
• Leverage AI coding tools (Claude) to speed up development while critically reviewing AI output
• Build and ship AI-driven products, workflows, and agents
• Contribute across the SDLC with architecture input, design feedback, and deployment strategy
• Develop robust features, databases, APIs, and infrastructure; fix bugs at speed while maintaining quality
• Own end-to-end feature delivery (design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, iterate)
• Ensure high-quality, customer-focused products through strong testing and validation
• Communicate with cross-functional teams; translate requirements for non-technical stakeholders
• Unblock teams with clear questions, rapid debugging, and practical solutions
• Adhere to Deel’s coding standards, testing, deployment, and operational responsibilities
• Maintain information security and manage cost efficiencies in development and operations
• Take accountability for service excellence from design to production

• 4+ years as Backend/Software Engineer
• Experience shipping real AI products and handling production issues
• Proficiency in NodeJS or Python; clean, maintainable code
• Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge; PostgreSQL xkdbapo and ORM (Sequelize/TypeORM) experience
• Experience shipping Claude-powered features; ability to prompt, review, and balance AI vs manual coding
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to document and explain concepts; strong remote collaboration
• Ability to work in distributed teams with async communication
• Commitment to secure coding, data handling, and compliance
• Awareness of cost efficiency and resource optimization
