Operations platform Designing and implementing capabilities for air-gapped patching and updates within the VCF environment Implementing and configuring NSX-T for software-defined networking and security Deploying and managing VMware Cloud Director instances, including resource pools, organisations, virtual data centres and networking Designing and implementing VMware Cloud Director Availability for disaster recovery and workload mobility Collaborating with infrastructure and operations teams to integrate VMware solutions with existing systems Providing technical expertise during testing, troubleshooting and resolution, including Omnissa Horizon VDI Developing and maintaining architectural diagrams, standard operating procedures and technical guides Key Experience Required UK Sole National with active DV Clearance Proven experience designing, implementing and managing VMware-based virtualisation solutions Strong experience across VMware Cloud Director, NSX-T and vRealize Orchestrator

In-depth knowledge of virtualisation concepts and VMware vSphere architecture Strong understanding of software-defined networking principles and NSX-T configuration and management Hands-on scripting for automation, for example PowerShell or Python Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills VMware certification such as VCP or VCAP Experience of air-gapped or offline patching within secure environments Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience Interested?
