Job description

  • Develop and implement digital test solutions on Advantest 93k tester platform.
  • Tests will integrate digital and optical test strategies into one solution.
  • Assign tester resources to meet test specifications, write parsing scripts to quickly evaluate produced data.
  • Design and implement test cell improvements to increase tester capabilities (test time reduction, increased accuracy, increased tester capabilities, etc.)
  • Become subject matter expert in micro-positioning stages.
  • RF test design/implementation on Advantest 93k Tester platform.
  • Interface with GF internal teams to maintain and develop business processes needed to deliver silicon to and from the GF state-of-the-art SiPh Lab.
  • Drive & support cross-functional collaboration across internal teams - Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Test equipment, Safety & Facility - to ensure efficient & effective operations of the SiPh Test floor.
  • Full-time position at GF state-of-the-art SiPh Lab with some level of remote work flexibility.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

  • Create concise SOP’s of new processes.
  • Cross-train with other sort test team members to be available to support other test objectives as they arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong hands-on engineering with excellent debugging skills.
  • C++ and Python coding capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Git.
  • Experience with JMP, Matlab or other data manipulation and analysis tools.
  • Familiarity working with Lab tools like oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, bandwidth measurement equipment, etc.
  • Experience in MS Office and diagnostic software.
  • Results-oriented with proficiency in interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and effectively working across teams.
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Clear communication abilities and the ability to own daily prioritization.
  • Demonstrated analytical & positive thinking, desire to innovate, self-accountability., * Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience in calibration and de-embedding techniques.
  • 3+ years’ experience in working with Lab tools like oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • 3+ years as Manufacturing engineer to bring development solutions into high-volume manufacturing (HVM) - either internal or through 3rd party OSAT partnership - and to drive continued yield improvements.
  • Advantest SmarTest 8 expertise.
  • Probe card design experience; RF, DC, Optical.
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, complex projects, etc.
  • Project management skills, the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.
  • Fluency in shell scripting, multi-paradigm (Matlab/R) and high-level programming languages (Python/Perl) for automation and statistical data analysis.
  • Mastery of verbal and written communication to successfully interact with highly technical teams, to provide documentation of the highest quality.
