  • Foundational knowledge of relational and NoSQL database design and SQL, including writing and tuning queries and stored procedures.
  • Foundational knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
  • Foundational understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Assist with development, testing, and support tasks, and contribute to assigned workstreams.
  • Learn and apply the team’s code quality, security, testing, and automation standards.
  • Eagerness to learn new and rapidly changing technologies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in enterprise application development.
  • Exposure to Java, Spring, and Spring Boot, and object-oriented programming fundamentals.
  • Foundational knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and web services.
  • Exposure to SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka or JMS.
  • Exposure to Git, CI/CD, and unit testing concepts.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
