Job description

  • Design and test complex systems and solutions, ensuring alignment with program objectives and customer requirements
  • Collaborate across multiple domains and product lines to manage system interactions and integration.
  • Develop and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability and compliance throughout the engineering lifecycle
  • Support proposal and bidding activities by contributing to technical solutions and cost estimates
  • Plan, execute, and analyze system tests to validate performance and functionality
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Experience in requirements development and management, including traceability and validation

  • Experience in system testing, including test planning, execution, and analysis
  • Prior work experience in preparing proposals and supporting bidding activities
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required prior to the start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in system design, including architecture development and trade studies
  • Prior leadership experience, such as leading technical teams or mentoring engineer
  • Familiarity with the engineering V-model and its application in system development.

  • And more!, The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
