Network Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer with a strong networking foundation and CCNP-level knowledge to support a variety of network infrastructure projects within a large enterprise environment. This individual will work under the guidance of a senior CCIE-level engineer, assisting with network upgrades, switch deployments, and Meraki camera initiatives across multiple locations., This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking projects while expanding their technical skills alongside experienced network architects.

· CCNP certification or equivalent networking knowledge.

\n

· Strong Experience with Cisco ISE.

\n

· Experience configuring Cisco switches in an enterprise environment.

\n

· Understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking fundamentals.

\n

· Solid knowledge of VLANs and network segmentation.

\n

· Understanding of how VoIP phones connect and communicate across a network.

\n

· Experience supporting network cutovers, hardware replacements, or infrastructure upgrades.

\n

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

\n

· Ability to work onsite in Columbia, MD.

• Any understanding of wireless, Meraki would be helpful but not required. \n

\n, · Perform Layer 2 access switch replacements and network hardware refreshes.

\n

· Configure and deploy Cisco switches and perform basic router configurations.

\n

· Support network upgrade projects, including planned cutovers and migrations.

\n

· Assist with the deployment and support of Meraki camera infrastructure.

\n

· Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and respond to outage-related support requests.

\n

. Provide hands-on support for wireless access points when needed, escalating to senior engineers for advanced troubleshooting.

\n

· Verify network connectivity following installations and upgrades.

\n

· Work closely with a CCIE-level engineer on implementation activities and project execution.

\n

· Document completed work and communicate project status to the team.
