Job description

  • Design, build and deploy scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
  • Deliver solutions across the full engineering lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and optimisation.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and define solution designs.
  • Build and maintain robust data models supporting reporting, analytics, machine learning and AI use cases.
  • Optimise data platform performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Implement data governance and data quality best practices.
  • Produce technical documentation and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience within Data Engineering and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
  • Solid understanding of Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture and modern data engineering principles.
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.
  • Strong Python development skills.
  • Experience working with Azure, AWS or GCP environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and consulting skills., * Data Lakehouse
