- Design and shape security solutions across complex technology transformation programmes.
- Translate business and security requirements into practical security architectures and technical designs.
- Work across cloud, infrastructure, networks, integration, applications, and enterprise security.
- Produce and review security architecture and design documentation.
- Conduct threat modelling and identify security risks in proposed solutions.
- Apply Secure by Design principles throughout the technology lifecycle.
- Work with Solution Architects, Engineers, delivery teams, and senior client stakeholders.
- Review existing architectures and recommend improvements or alternative approaches.
- Use recognised security frameworks and architecture methodologies to support design decisions.
- Help clients balance security requirements with wider technical and business objectives.

Requirements
- Relevant experience in security architecture or security solution design; applicants do not need to currently hold the title of Security Architect.
- Meaningful architecture or solution-design experience as a Security Architect, Security Consultant, Security Engineer, or other technical security professional.
- Experience may include designing or reviewing HLDs/LLDs and technical architectures; threat modelling and Secure by Design; cloud security across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP; security architecture across infrastructure, networks, applications, or integration environments; large-scale infrastructure, cloud, or technology transformation programmes; working within an Architecture or Design team; translating technical or business requirements into secure solutions; and client-facing consulting or stakeholder management.
- Certifications or knowledge of frameworks such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, NIST, or CIISec/CCP would be beneficial.
- Must be capable of obtaining the appropriate UK security clearance. Some assignments may require higher levels of National Security Vetting, and candidates should have the UK residency and right-to-work history needed to meet relevant clearance requirements.

We are a major UK consultancy expanding our Security Architecture capability, with more than 10 hires planned at Consultant and Senior Consultant levels. Our teams work on major public and private sector transformation programmes, helping clients design, develop, and deliver secure technology solutions from early requirements and design through to delivery. The role offers exposure to different clients, sectors, technologies, and complex environments, with opportunities to develop a broader Security Architecture career and influence security design. Positions are based in London, Bristol, Manchester, or Cambridge, with hybrid working that typically involves at least two days per week at an office or client site. Employment is permanent.
