Job description

We’re looking for a Solution Integrations Architect to help build the technical foundation that powers Zip’s ERP and integration ecosystem. This role focuses on internal technical enablement, navigating complex customer environments to architect the cleanest possible solutions, partnering closely with Product, and driving best-in-class standards across all of Zip’s integration workflows - with a specific focus on the Oracle ecosystem.

As Zip continues to scale rapidly across enterprise customers like Coinbase, Notion, Canva, Samsara, Snowflake, and Databricks, your impact will be foundational: creating reusable integration assets, defining standards of how the Zip product interacts with external systems.

You Will

You’ll work closely with our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams while reporting to Engineering to design, maintain, and iterate on Zip-owned ERP and integration templates that power scalable, repeatable customer implementations. Your work will directly influence how hundreds of future implementations are delivered, raising the technical bar for both our EPD teams and our customer-facing technical consultant organization.

  • Architect & standardize Oracle integrations: Design, maintain, and iterate on Zip’s core Oracle integration templates, ensuring they deliver scalable, repeatable, and robust customer implementations.
  • Bridge product & the field: Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) to ensure integration templates stay perfectly aligned with core product architecture, field insights, and emerging customer needs.
  • Turn nuance into scale: Analyze complex customer implementations to identify reusable data mapping patterns and system nuances, converting bespoke solutions into standardized internal assets.
  • Support pre-sales engineering: Partner with account teams during pre-sales to design and vet integration architectures, ensuring prospective customers are set up for smooth, best-practice deployments.
  • Drive technical implementation excellence: Define, document, and champion technical solution consulting best practices, raising the technical bar and driving consistency across all implementations.
  • Become a Multi-ERP expert: Leverage your existing Oracle, P2P, and financial systems expertise to build deep fluency across additional ERP ecosystems, ultimately becoming the ultimate subject matter expert on integration architecture, data models, and Zip’s App Studio.
  • Build for permanent scale: Approach every technical challenge with an engineering mindset - designing and executing a solution thoroughly once so that future implementations happen effortlessly. You balance high-level architectural design with a willingness to dive directly into API configurations and template modifications to get the job done right., Owns end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SCM implementations. Defines enterprise blueprints, architecture standards, application boundaries, integrations, data migration, reporting, security, and nonfunctional requirements. Leads design workshops, fit-to-standard decisions, governance forums, design reviews, testing, cutover, go-live readiness, and transition to operations while coordinating Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, functional, technical, and senior stakeholder teams., Designs and delivers Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM integrations and legacy data conversions for a federal modernization program. Responsibilities include developing integrations with Oracle Integration Cloud and web services, managing conversion mapping and validation, administering OCI/PaaS environments, directing technical developers, supporting testing and cutover, documenting architectures, and ensuring FedRAMP and agency security compliance.
