Job description

  • Design, develop, and modernize Enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, C/C++, and microservices.
  • Develop and maintain interfaces between OSS and other applications/network elements
  • Analyze and modernize legacy C/C++ applications, transitioning functionality toward Java, Linux, and modern service architectures.
  • Develop high-throughput integrations using IBM MQ, Tuxedo, Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, and other messaging technologies.
  • Support migration from legacy communication technolog

Requirements

  • Software Engineer with 10-12+ years of experience developing and modernizing Enterprise applications.
  • The role requires strong Java/Spring Boot and C/C++expertise, with experience integrating Enterprise applications with messaging platforms, databases, and modern cloud environments.

Nice to have skills:

  • Support migration from legacy communication technologies toward IP-based connectivity and modern integration patterns.
  • Design and implement scalable microservices, APIs, event-driven workflows, and network/service provisioning capabilities.
  • Work with Oracle/Informix and PostgreSQL databases, including query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues across application, database, middleware, network, and infrastructure layers.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineering, OSS/BSS, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Production Support teams during modernization and migration activities.
  • Support deployment across Red Hat Linux, on-premises, Azure, and AWS/AWS Outposts environments.
  • Participate in technical design, code reviews, performance engineering, P1/P2 production

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Benefits & conditions

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
