Cloud Systems Engineer (AWS)

The Senior Cloud Systems Engineer (AWS) designs, builds, and supports secure cloud-native services for federal missions. In this expert role, you provide technical leadership to implementation teams, manage Linux servers and enterprise applications in AWS, handle security patching and accreditation support, and help ensure a 24/7/365 mission-critical system remains available, including participation in an on-call rotation and close collaboration with Agile, DevOps-focused teams., * Design and maintain cloud-native services and AWS-based enterprise solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and engineering guidance to mission teams.
• Administer and support Linux servers and services in AWS, including security patching.
• Support, monitor, and troubleshoot a mission-critical 24/7 application and related COTS LDAP service.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tooling for deployments.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure continuous service availability.
