Job description
The consultant will work within the Microsoft Government GCC / Office 365 Government G5 environment, supporting Dynamics 365 CE/CRM, Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure DevOps/GitHub, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies., * Design, develop, test, customize, and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM and Power Platform solutions.
- Develop and enhance model-driven applications, canvas applications, business process flows, forms, views, and business rules.
- Design and maintain Microsoft Dataverse relational data models, schemas, tables, relationships, and custom business logic.
- Administer Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments, including environment configuration, solution inventory, and Dataverse schema management.
- Architect and implement security roles, field-level security, access controls, and least-privilege security models.
- Configure application navigation, UX components, workflows, automation, environment variables, connection references, and API connections.
- Design enterprise system architectures aligned with organizational objectives, Power Platform governance, and IT standards.
- Manage Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Azure DevOps/GitHub pipelines and managed solution deployments.
- Deploy managed solutions, custom components, connectors, and integrations through established release processes.
- Develop custom extensions using C#/.NET, including Dynamics plugins and custom workflow assemblies.
- Develop client-side customizations using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Provide administration and operational support for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
- Monitor system usage, performance, capacity, licensing, and platform health.
- Perform environment cleanup, component archiving, and governance compliance activities.
- Support Office 365 Government G5 permissions, security settings, data policies, and DLP controls.
- Provide technical support to end users, functional teams, business units, and project stakeholders.
- Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, ERDs, workflow documentation, integration patterns, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with the M365 Solutions Manager, business users, SMEs, and technical teams to prioritize and deliver project workloads.
- Plan, organize, track, and implement project milestones using established IT project methodologies.
- Provide regular status updates covering project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones.
- Identify opportunities to modernize existing systems and streamline business processes.
- Support cybersecurity policies and procedures related to NIST 800-53, FISMA, SC Information Security Requirements, and other applicable government standards.
- Apply security and data protection practices related to HIPAA, CJIS, CDC, data classification, confidentiality, and information risk management.
- Work flexible hours, including outside traditional business hours, when required for critical deployments or operational support.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting and administering enterprise Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, with strong expertise in Dataverse data modeling, application security, ALM, custom development, cloud security, and government compliance requirements., * 6+ years of experience working with State Government environments.
- 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM, including solution architecture, customization, development, and administration.
- 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Dataverse, including relational data modeling, custom business logic, security architecture, and schema design.
- 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform enterprise components.
- 10+ years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub pipelines and managed solution deployments.
- 10+ years of experience with C#/.NET custom extensibility, including plugins and custom workflow assemblies.
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript client-side scripting.
- 10+ years of experience with cloud security and data classification.
- Experience working with security and compliance requirements associated with CDC, HIPAA, CJIS, and NIST 800-53 controls.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, application integration, governance, and security.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, SMEs, and executive-level personnel.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience., * Experience architecting Microsoft Power Pages, including external authentication and secure portal implementations.
- Experience with Power BI data modeling and reporting.
- Experience integrating Power BI with Dataverse and Azure Synapse Link.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Government cloud environments.
- Experience with enterprise Power Platform governance and security.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant / Developer PL-400
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert PL-600
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect certification.
