Job description

Kforce has a client seeking a remote Software Engineer., This position will design, develop, execute, and maintain automated testing solutions using ACCELQ while also contributing to application development and enhancement efforts. The Software Engineer will build scalable automation frameworks and reusable assets that improve software quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance., * Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites in ACCELQ covering business, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end requirements

  • Design reusable ACCELQ actions, scenarios, contexts, shared libraries, and other automation assets
  • Create automated testing solutions for web applications, APIs, databases, and integrated workflows
  • Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, stability, accuracy, and maintainability
  • Investigate automation failures and perform root-cause analysis across scripts, environments, integrations, and application functionality
  • Design, build, test, deploy, release, and support SaaS-based software solutions
  • Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
  • Support continuous integration, continuous development, and deployment pipelines
  • Perform code reviews and verify and validate software changes
  • Maintain traceability among requirements, user stories, design artifacts, source code, test cases, defects, and release records
  • Evaluate system and component releases for potential impact on business processes
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, executable specifications, and test scenarios
  • Apply Behavior-Driven Development, Test-Driven Development, and other quality-focused engineering practices
  • Partner with product management, engineering, quality, regulatory, and software validation teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Three or more years of experience working in a SaaS product-development or FDA-regulated medical-device software environment
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated testing solutions; ACCELQ experience is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with technologies such as Angular, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, and Kafka
  • Experience with Jira, Git/GitLab, or comparable release-management and application-lifecycle-management tools
  • Experience supporting software requirements, design, development, testing, and release activities
  • Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework environment
  • Ability to create and maintain formal documentation supporting regulated software-quality requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Reliable internet connectivity and the ability to travel up to 10%
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, or reactive programming is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
