Job description

As a PHP Backend Developer, you’ll work with modern frameworks, enjoy a variety of employee benefits, and grow professionally within a passionate and innovative tech team. If writing clean, efficient PHP code is your thing, this is the place to be. You Will:

  • Develop new features for fast-growing digital products using modern web technologies
  • Maintain and expand the system architecture across frontend, backend, databases, caches, and APIs comparison interfaces, result pages, finalization flows, REST APIs)
  • Optimize and scale the platform in a service-oriented architecture
  • Maintain code quality through daily code reviews and automated testing

Requirements

  • Solid programming skills in at least one language, with a strong interest in software development
  • Proven experience in PHP development; experience with modern PHP frameworks Symfony or Laravel) is a plus
  • Confident working with relational databases, Git, Docker, and in a Linux shell environment
  • Experience with AI-based development tools Cursor, Claude, Gemini, Windsurf) is a bonus
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured, quality-driven approach to work
  • Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
