Job description

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our fast-paced agile development team. You will drive quality across both internal products and client-facing applications. If you are strong in functional testing and eager to level up in automation, DevOps, and modern testing workflows, this is the place for you. What You’ll Do

  • Automate & Test: Build and maintain E2E test suites using JavaScript or C#.
  • Drive Quality: Perform functional, exploratory, and performance testing on UI, RESTful APIs, and databases.
  • Bridge the Gaps: Collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria, test plans, and robust system architecture.
  • Modernize Workflows: Leverage modern testing methods and AI-assisted tools to boost efficiency and bug discovery.
  • Own Releases: Manage test environments, test data, release processes, and software merges.
  • Agile Execution: Active participation in standups, retrospectives, and 3-Amigos sessions.

Requirements

  • Core QA Experience: Proven background in an agile software development setup.
  • Test Automation: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium).
  • API & DB Proficiency: Strong background with API testing (Insomnia/Postman, OpenAPI/Swagger) and querying SQL databases.
  • Diagnostic Mindset: A natural knack for breaking systems, debugging (DevTools), and filing clear, actionable bug reports.
  • Tech Fundamentals: Exposure to cloud environments (Azure), version control (Git), performance testing (JMeter), and OS scripting (Windows/Unix).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English for client and team collaboration.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience or curiosity with AI-assisted dev/test tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or AI-driven test frameworks).

Benefits & conditions

Why Join Us?

  • Real Impact: Build solutions that power high-growth ventures across critical industries.
  • Career Growth: Dedicated support to expand your automation, cloud, and DevOps skills.
  • Great Culture: Collaborative, transparent, and built on continuous learning.
  • Top Benefits: Competitive salary, bonus scheme, private healthcare, pension, gym membership, Perkbox, and flexible hybrid working.
