Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data & Analytics Architect to join a Data & Analytics Center of Excellence and help shape enterprise data strategy, architecture, and scalable data solutions.

This is an architecture-focused role requiring strong experience across Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, ETL, SQL, Cloud Data Platforms, BI, Data Security, and CI/CD.

What You’ll Do

Define and enhance enterprise data strategy and architecture.
Architect and enhance data warehouse and data lake solutions.
Design and develop ETL processes, data marts, tables, and other data objects.
Partner with BI, analytics, product, IT, and business teams.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, architecture documentation, and technical standards.
Support enterprise data initiatives and provide architecture guidance.
Troubleshoot data platform and pipeline issues.
Support data migration and integration initiatives.
Implement scalable and maintainable data architecture.
Apply data security, identity, privacy, authorization, and encryption practices.
Work with Azure DevOps/GitHub and CI/CD development practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Data Architecture.
5+ years of experience with Data Warehousing.
5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
Strong SQL and database architecture experience.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle.
Strong ETL experience with SSIS, Azure Pipelines, dbt, or Informatica.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or Databricks.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
Programming/query experience with SQL, Python, DAX, or similar technologies.

Nice to Have

Data warehouse architecture experience with MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, Data Marts, and EDW.
Azure AD / SSO experience.
Data security and encryption experience.
Azure DevOps and GitHub.
CI/CD experience.
Data migration experience.
Big Data technologies.
Banking or financial services experience.
Experience working in environments with multiple firewall/security layers.

The successful candidate will be a strong technical architect who can translate enterprise business requirements into scalable data solutions while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
