Job description

We are seeking a skilled Python Full-Stack Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications across both the front-end and back-end. You will work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions., * Design and develop scalable web applications using Python-based frameworks.

  • Build robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and integrations.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Design and optimize databases, queries, and data models.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
  • Identify and resolve performance, security, and scalability issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
  • Deploy and maintain applications in cloud or on-premises environments.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including:HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript or TypeScript
  • React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and version control.
  • Strong knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and debugging

Preferred, but not required:

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income products
  • Experience in Risk and pricing application development
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as pytest, unittest, or Jest.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.

Benefits & conditions

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95k - $105k/year & benefits (see below)., * A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
