Mid-Level Full-Stack AI Solutions Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on, growing engineer who can strengthen the platform we operate today while helping build the intelligent products of tomorrow. This is not a narrow database, front-end, or AI role. Working with experienced technical and product leaders, you will contribute across the current Microsoft-based application stack, modern cloud services, APIs, user experiences, and emerging AI capabilities.

You will be successful if you enjoy modernizing real production systems, learn the aviation domain, use AI coding tools fluently, and work with product and design partners to move from raw information to trusted decisions.

What You Will Build

• Evolve the current platform. Develop, optimize, secure, and maintain AlarisPro’s MSSQL, ASP.NET/.NET, IIS, API, and React capabilities.
• Create the modern AI stack. Contribute to cloud-native services, AI-enabled workflows, retrieval and reasoning capabilities, model integrations, evaluation approaches, and production-ready data pipelines.
• Turn information into decisions. Build experiences that surface risks, identify patterns, recommend actions, and support preventive maintenance and operational decision-making.
• Connect the ecosystem. Design secure, documented REST APIs and integrations that allow internal services, customers, partners, and AI agents to work with AlarisPro data and capabilities.
• Build usable front ends. Create responsive, accessible interfaces that make complex safety, compliance, maintenance, and fleet intelligence understandable and actionable.
• Use AI-assisted engineering responsibly. Apply Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable tools to accelerate discovery, prototyping, refactoring, testing, documentation, and delivery-with human review and production engineering discipline.

Core ResponsibilitiesProduction Platform & Data

• Develop and optimize T-SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, schemas, indexes, and execution plans.
• Monitor reliability and performance; troubleshoot deadlocks, blocking, long-running queries, resource utilization, and application/database issues.
• Maintain data integrity, security, availability, backup/recovery practices, and compliance controls.
• Develop, debug, refactor, review, deploy, and support ASP.NET/.NET applications and IIS-hosted services.

AI, Cloud & Integration

• Prototype and productionize AI capabilities that use AlarisPro’s trusted operational data to improve maintenance, safety, compliance, and fleet decisions.
• Build and consume secure REST APIs using appropriate authentication patterns, including JWT, OAuth 2.0, API keys, and related controls.
• Contribute to cloud architecture, deployment automation, observability, CI/CD, testing, and scalable service design, with an emphasis on AWS environments.
• Help evaluate new models, frameworks, and coding agents; document findings, technical decisions, and measurable product outcomes.

Product, Design & Collaboration

• Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, risks, and decisions-not simply requested features.
• Use Design Thinking and product management methods to frame problems, prototype quickly, test assumptions, prioritize value, and iterate from evidence.
• Translate between aviation operations, product goals, user experience, data, and engineering constraints.
• Contribute to roadmaps, requirements, acceptance criteria, code reviews, technical documentation, testing, and release readiness., * Your contributions make the existing platform more reliable, maintainable, secure, and easier to evolve.
• You help move new AI capabilities from prototype toward production using clear evaluation criteria and measurable user value.
• Customers spend less time interpreting records and more time acting on trusted intelligence.
• Engineering, product, design, and aviation stakeholders share a clearer path from data to preventive decisions.

Pay: Up to $130,000.00 per year

• Hands-on development with C# or VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, .NET Core, or a comparable .NET application environment.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with cloud-hosted applications, databases, or services.
• Front-end development experience; HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React or comparable modern frameworks are strongly valued.
• Practical experience using Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools to deliver working software.
• Working knowledge of Git, testing, secure development, code review, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to contribute across the stack, communicate clearly, ask good questions, document work, and deliver reliably in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of professional software or data-platform engineering experience, including meaningful hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• AWS architecture, application/API hosting, WebSocket’s, managed databases, serverless or containerized services, and cloud observability.
• SQL Agent automation, Microsoft SQL database administration, IIS configuration, high availability, and performance engineering.
• Applied AI/ML, LLM integrations, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, model evaluation, or MLOps/LLMOps.
• Product discovery, Design Thinking, user research, prototyping, backlog prioritization, or product management practices.
• Aviation, UAS, fleet operations, preventive maintenance, safety, regulatory compliance, or other high-reliability domains., We value speed, curiosity, and strong tool fluency. We also expect engineering judgment. AI-generated code must be understood, reviewed, tested, secured, documented, and operated like any other production code. The goal is not to generate more code; it is to deliver better outcomes faster.
