Requirements

A successful and growing publicly traded financial services organization is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with data analysis experience, preferably from a similar industry. This is an operational and oversight function involving evaluating regulations, researching, and analyzing data, understanding technical implementations of systems, and creating control procedures to test compliance., * Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a quantitative or analytical field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, compliance, operations, audit, or finance.
  • Experience in an analytical role, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong data analysis, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience performing data analysis using programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, or Go) and database queries (e.g., SQL)
  • Regulatory research and interpretation skills preferred.
  • FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol experience ideal.
  • UNIX experience, or ability to learn the operating system.
  • Experience using Atlassian systems (e.g., Confluence and JIRA) is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, FINRA Consolidated Audit Trail (“CAT”) / Order Audit Trail (“OATS”) systems.
