iOS Engineer

Agility Partners is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join in supporting one of the largest eCommerce and retail mobile applications in the country.

In this role, you’ll help design, develop, and enhance customer-facing mobile experiences used by millions of customers. You’ll partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and fellow Mobile Engineers to build features that improve how customers shop, discover products, manage orders, and engage with the digital ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy native iOS features using Swift and the iOS SDK
• Build intuitive, scalable mobile experiences that enhance the customer journey
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to turn business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop reusable UI components and scalable application architectures
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services to deliver seamless user experiences
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and responsiveness
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design sessions
• Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing feature enhancements
• Contribute to engineering best practices, coding standards, and mobile development excellence
• Work closely with QA and release teams to ensure quality deployments

• Extensive experience developing native iOS applications with Swift
• Strong knowledge of the iOS SDK and modern iOS development practices
• Experience building customer-facing features within large-scale mobile applications
• Strong understanding of RESTful API integration
• Experience with modern architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture
• Ability to write scalable, maintainable, and testable code
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience contributing to code reviews and technical design discussions
