Job description

Join our Test Engineering team and help develop the products that support critical customer missions. As a Test Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers, manufacturing teams, and technical partners to design, build, and improve test solutions for embedded military systems. This is an opportunity to apply your electrical engineering knowledge in a hands-on environment while building experience with automated test systems, troubleshooting, qualification testing, and cross-functional product development., * Support the analysis of embedded electronic systems to help define effective test methods and solutions.

  • Assist in designing and developing automated and manual test environments, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Create and maintain test procedures, reports, and supporting documentation for systems and circuit card assemblies.
  • Participate in qualification, development, and production testing activities.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, test equipment, and software issues; document findings and recommend solutions.
  • Provide input on Design for Testability and support engineering design reviews.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Test, Quality, and Purchasing to resolve technical challenges.
  • Help train manufacturing personnel on test processes, equipment, and procedures.
  • Support task planning, schedule tracking, status reporting, and coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Contribute to component and supplier evaluations related to test equipment and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 0-5 years of experience gained through internships, co-ops, academic projects, military service, or professional engineering roles.
  • Foundational knowledge of electronics, embedded systems, circuit analysis, and test methods, with an interest in hands-on troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Jira or similar engineering collaboration tools is a plus.
  • Experience or coursework in automated test development using NI LabVIEW/TestStand, modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or Cameo, and/or embedded software or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, qualification, or environmental testing-including EMI/EMC, shock, and vibration-is preferred.
  • Experience supporting military, aerospace, nuclear, industrial control, actuator, or other highly regulated products is a plus, as is familiarity with MIL-STD-461, IEEE 323, and IEEE 344.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
