Data Scientist & Advanced Analytics Specialist

Education Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science, * Proficiency in statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics using Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R.

• Hands-on experience engineering big data pipelines using Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or Hadoop ecosystems.

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks).

• Experience building interactive data visualization dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, Plotly/Dash).

• Ability to clean, fuse, and extract insights from structured and unstructured multi-source defense data.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) for automated document classification and entity extraction.

• Prior background supporting DoD R&D datasets, test range metrics, or intelligence analysis.

• Experience applying DevSecOps practices to data science workflows (DataOps/MLOps).

Relevant Certifications

DASCA Senior Data Scientist (SDS), AWS Certified Data Analytics, or Cloudera Certified
