- Diversified workday - deep Linux troubleshooting, racking and stacking, supporting trading floor
Requirements
- Looking for 10+ years of experience and willingness to wear many hats
- Windows servers and desktops rarely.
- Frequent user interaction
Technical must-haves:
Deep Linux knowledge
Scripting skills: bash, perl, python, SQL.
Experience with Debian/Ubuntu
Experience with BIND, Ansible
Responsibilities include:
Installations of workstations on trading floors and in offices.
Installations of servers and networking appliances in data centers, sometimes requiring travel.
Ensure strong security and resiliency
Occasional tasks include:
Hardware maintenance.
Large-scale buildouts sometimes requiring travel
