Database Engineer Job

• The ECOM Database Engineer is responsible for the initial set-up, preparation, maintenance, (internal) auditing and close out of Project Completions Database (ECOM) during the execute phase.

• You adhere and participate to the implementation of the Project HSSE and Quality Plans. Responsibilities

• You maintain ECOM databases, ensuring optimal performance and scalability to support project and operational needs.
• You monitor database health, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and data integrity.
• You develop and optimize database queries, scripts, and stored procedures for efficient data handling and reporting.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ECOM databases with other operational systems.
• You create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, including schemas, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• You identify opportunities for improvement in database systems and lead initiatives to enhance performance and reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline. Experience

• At least 5+ years of experience in database engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of ECOM systems and their integration in Oil & Gas operations.
