System Administrator

Our client is a middle-market regional financial institution with a long history of growth and stability. The System Administrator will be charged with maintaining secure, reliable and high-performing systems that support daily operations with a focus on service/help desk operations., * Point person for all end-user support

• Administer Windows Server, Datto Backups, and SAN storage
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Support Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Oversee patching, backups, and disaster recovery processes
• Manage user provisioning and access controls
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and system runbooks
• Proactively monitor system performance and improve stability
• Execute system upgrades and infrastructure changes
• Contribute to automation, optimization, and standardization efforts
• Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and scalability

• 3+ years of systems administration experience
• Must have Microsoft 365 & Windows Server
• Windows 10/11
• Must have Active Directory & identity management
• Networking fundamentals
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Attention to detail in a regulated, compliance-driven environment
• Interest in automation, modernization, and continuous improvement
