An established organisation is embarking on a major ERP transformation programme and is seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Lead to take ownership of the successful delivery of a new enterprise-wide ERP platform.
This is a high-profile role that will lead the ERP programme from design through implementation, acting as the key link between the business, technology teams and implementation partners. You will drive decision-making, champion best-practice processes and ensure the solution delivers meaningful business outcomes.
The Role
Operating at both strategic and programme-delivery level, you will:
Lead the implementation of a new ERP platform across the organisation Act as the primary ERP programme lead, coordinating business, technology and third-party delivery teams Drive fit-to-standard adoption and challenge unnecessary customisation Work closely with business stakeholders to define future-state processes and operating models Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, resolve design decisions and build stakeholder consensus Manage ERP scope, priorities, risks and dependencies throughout the programme lifecycle Oversee system design, configuration, testing, data migration and deployment activities Ensure integration with key business systems including CRM, HR, finance and operational platforms Coordinate implementation partners and hold suppliers accountable for successful delivery Lead change management and user adoption activities to maximise business value Support training, communication and business readiness planning ahead of go-live Provide regular programme updates to senior leadership and key stakeholdersThis role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on programme leadership to ensure the ERP implementation is delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives.
Requirements
We are seeking a proven ERP delivery professional with experience leading large-scale ERP implementations within complex organisations., A track record of successfully leading ERP implementations from selection or design through to go-live Strong experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, IFS, Microsoft Dynamics, Unit4 or similar Excellent understanding of business process transformation across finance, operations, procurement, supply chain or asset management functions Experience managing implementation partners and third-party vendors Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation Experience facilitating workshops, gathering requirements and driving business decisions Knowledge of data migration, testing, cutover planning and change management Experience managing programme risks, budgets and delivery timelines Strong business analysis and process improvement expertiseWe’re particularly interested in individuals who have led ERP programmes through significant organisational change and can bring the credibility, leadership and commercial acumen needed to ensure a successful implementation.
