More:

We are supporting our client with the appointment of an IT Systems Developer in Cheshire, with a salary of £30,000 - £35,000. This is a varied opportunity to work alongside our existing IT team, combining software development with broader IT support and problem-solving across business systems, an e-commerce platform and day-to-day technical issues. We are open-minded about background and value technical aptitude, curiosity and a practical approach to problem-solving. Training can be provided to the right person, and more experienced developers who enjoy working across a broad range of areas are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Genuine working knowledge of Python and core programming principles.
  • An interest in learning new systems and technologies.
  • The ability to investigate problems methodically and suggest effective solutions.
  • Comfort working across both software and hardware.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to discuss technical requirements and ideas.
  • Experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS or e-commerce platforms would be useful, but is not essential.
  • Our client is open-minded about background and is more interested in technical aptitude, curiosity and a practical approach to problem-solving than in a particular career path.
  • You may be a junior developer with strong general IT knowledge, an IT support professional with development experience, an early-career Python developer, or someone with practical skills gained through an apprenticeship or degree.
