Job description

Talented People are hiring on behalf of their client who are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join them on a permanent basis as they enhance their internal tech team., Location: Remote within the UK with occasional travel to their new West Sussex office - no more than once a month unless you live closer you may want to go in more often but this is up to you, We’re recruiting a Full Stack Developer for an established UK based business. You’ll work primarily on its bespoke CRM, maintaining and improving the existing system while developing new features that support teams across the company.

The business is investing in digital transformation, connecting systems through APIs and exploring how data, AI and machine learning can improve its operations. This is an opportunity to work across both front end and back end development on systems central to its continued growth.

The role

  • Develop, maintain and improve the company’s bespoke CRM.
  • Build new functionality across the front end and back end.
  • Integrate third party APIs and improve connectivity between business systems.
  • Investigate issues and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.
  • Work with colleagues to understand business requirements and turn them into practical features.

Requirements

  • At least five years’ professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining CRM systems, ideally bespoke or in house platforms.
  • Strong PHP experience
  • Experience with Laravel 12-13 and Vue 3.
  • Good knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB.
  • Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
  • Confidence using Git, HTML and CSS.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical and non technical colleagues.

Highly advantageous experience:

  • Knowledge of OAuth and API authentication, such as Laravel Passport.
  • Linux systems administration experience.
  • Confidence using Claude or similar AI coding tools while independently understanding, writing and reviewing code.
