React Developer

We are looking for a talented and experienced React Developer to join our engineering team in New York City. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using React and modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a product-oriented mindset and has a passion for creating fast, scalable, accessible, and intuitive user experiences. You will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to turn ideas into reliable, production-ready applications., * Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js.

• Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable frontend components.

• Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into responsive applications.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested JavaScript/TypeScript code.

• Work closely with designers and product managers to deliver polished user experiences.

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Implement state management using tools such as Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar technologies.

• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Develop reusable component libraries and contribute to design-system initiatives.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for critical application functionality.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend bugs and performance issues.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend engineering standards.

• Collaborate with backend and platform engineers on end-to-end technical solutions.

• Stay current with emerging React, JavaScript, and frontend development practices.

• 2-8 years of professional experience in frontend or React development.

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.

• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Strong understanding of React hooks, component architecture, and state management.

• Experience building responsive and production-grade web applications.

• Experience integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL.

• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization.

• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.

• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering.

• Experience with Redux, Zustand, React Query, or similar state-management tools.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Styled Components, or similar frameworks.

• Experience building and maintaining design systems.

• Knowledge of Node.js and backend development.

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment.

• Experience with WebSockets or real-time applications.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG.

• Experience working on AI-powered products, SaaS platforms, fintech applications, or other high-scale products.
