Job description

As an Experienced Professional Software Engineer within the Space Software Product Line (SSPL) you will contribute to our mission by:

  • Collaborate in the design of code implementations
  • Develop and test software as part of a larger Agile execution team
  • Contribute to peer code review and merge approval

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in C++ programming language
  • Demonstrated experience with Linux Operating Systems
  • Experience working in an Agile Environment
  • Strong analytical/problem solving abilities
  • Effective communication for cross-team coordination

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge/experience in a Version Control System (Git)
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, HTML
  • Experience using automated unit testing frameworks

Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
