Cash Application Specialist

We are seeking a Cash Application Specialist to support commissions, revenue, cash application, and payment reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cash applications, accounts receivable, payment discrepancies, and Oracle, along with strong attention to detail and professional communication skills., * Support cash application, commissions, revenue, and payment processing activities.

• Research and resolve overpayments, underpayments, and payment discrepancies using Oracle.
• Accurately apply and reconcile payments to the appropriate accounts.
• Assist with policy builds and related financial processing activities.
• Communicate professionally via email with clients and insurance carriers regarding payment and account-related matters.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cash application activities.
• Work closely with client-facing and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Support the team’s transition toward a new cash application system.

• Experience in cash application, accounts receivable, payment processing, or payment reconciliation.
• Experience researching and resolving overpayments, underpayments, and payment discrepancies.
• Experience working with Oracle or a similar ERP/financial system.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written communication skills, particularly for external email communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with insurance carriers or insurance-related financial transactions.
• Knowledge of commissions, revenue operations, billing, or policy administration.
• Experience with cash application system implementations or process transitions.
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.
