In this role you will design secure, scalable cloud and AI data platforms across multi-cloud environments to support Vodafone’s strategic AI and data initiatives.You will translate business requirements into production-ready architectures, lead data mesh and AI solution design, and ensure governance, security, and cost discipline.You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a bridge between business, engineering, and platform owners to deliver value.This position offers impact at scale, shaping data platforms and GenAI applications in a dynamic telecom environment.Bonus on top of gross salary Intensive Summer Schedule Up to 20 days remote work annually with location flexibility?(interpreted)Design and implement AI architectures aligned with Vodafone’s goals Design and implement decentralized data mesh architectures with robust data contracts Ensure scalability, efficiency, and security of cloud and AI solutions Provide high-level effort estimations for local market cloud migrations Establish data interaction patterns for multi-cloud environments to optimize latency and cost Embed FinOps principles in the technical design phase Define scalable CI/CD patterns and deployment strategies for AI/GenAI initiatives Translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions while ensuring governance and compliance Lead pre-sales and solutioning to map requirements to cloud architecture and ROI Collaborate with business users to anticipate data needs End-to-end design and architecture of scalable data platforms in hybrid/multi-cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) Strong knowledge of modern data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT orchestration Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud security best practices (least privilege, encryption) FinOps expertise: cloud cost forecasting, rightsizing, capacity optimization Leading complex cloud migrations from on-premises (Teradata, Oracle) to cloud hubs Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or STEM Cloud certifications Experience in roles similar to this one Knowledge of Cloud Data Architecture for Data Warehousing (preferred) Data warehousing and data lakes ETL/ELT orchestration #J-*****-Ljbffr
