Hardware Specialist

We are seeking a Hardware Technician to support the disassembly, reassembly, testing, and preparation of laptops and tablets. This is an onsite, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with computer hardware and troubleshooting technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble laptops, tablets, and related computer equipment.
• Diagnose and identify basic hardware issues.
• Replace or repair hardware components as needed.
• Test devices to ensure proper functionality after repair or reassembly.
• Perform quality-control checks on completed devices.
• Document repairs, testing results, and equipment status.
• Follow established procedures for handling, repairing, and testing equipment.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.

• Basic understanding of computer hardware and components.
• Comfortable using hand tools and working with small electronic components.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and test equipment methodically.
• Prior experience repairing, assembling, or servicing computers, laptops, tablets, or electronics is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite and stand or sit for extended periods as needed.

• $600 per week
• Onsite contract-to-hire opportunity
• Eligible for permanent conversion after 6 months
• Hands-on technical environment with opportunities to build hardware and IT experience.
