Java Developer

Our client seeks a Java developer to manage Java and Java EE application development and contribute across the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing., * Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.

• Design and develop user interfaces for internet and intranet applications by setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Determine design methodologies and tool sets and complete programming using appropriate languages and software products.
• Design and conduct tests.
• Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. • Understanding of cloud and event-driven architecture, microservices, and DDD architectural style.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications into AWS.
• Strong understanding of Terraform.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.
• Proficiency with Java J2EE and Hibernate.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
