Project descriptionModernization project of core business systems for a large US financial institution.ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead who can help to perform migration of client platform: Quickly onboard to Customer’s processesDevelop new features in Java and Kotlin for Spring Boot Microservices, as well as maintain existing onesImprove Personalized SearchModernize Data Ingestion for faster searching and indexingEnsure Cloud Readiness and integration of Azure APIM and GatewayCollaborate with other teams and client to find the best solutionsLead dev teamsSkillsMust haveReadiness to work until 8.00 pm CET;EnglishB2 or higher;Must have: Kotlin, Java Spring Boot, Gradle;At least 1 year of Team Lead, Tech Lead or Architect experienceAt least 5 years of work experience including enterprise backend system design experience;Strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin language, familiar with Spring/SpringBoot;Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture patterns;Hands on experience with AZURE (preferably Azure AI Search) and knowledge of cloud architecture patterns;Experience with distributed systems;An experience with Elasticsearch;Good knowledge of SQL;Familiar with microservice architecture patterns;Familiar with Containers and Orchestration Systems (Kubernetes/PKS/OpenShift);Experience with PostgreSQL;Adoption of Agile and DevOps culture;Strong written and verbal communication skillsNice to haveExperience of work in distributed teams, with US customersExperience of work with search platforms;E-commerce background;An experience with Hazelcast;An experience with Spring Cloud;OtherLanguagesEnglish: B2 Upper IntermediateSeniorityLeadRemote Spain, SpainReq.VR-**JavaBCM Industry29/09/2026Req.VR-**
