Job description

  • Maintain system specifications
  • Perform file transfer activities as the Data Transfer Agent
  • Administer Configuration Control Board activities
  • Prepare documentation for customer release, including detailed formatting in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Release documents through the Configuration Management system
  • Update the DOORS database according to specifications
  • Create and modify DOORS scripts using DXL
  • Develop, analyze, improve, and revise existing processes and procedures
  • Work in both classified and unclassified environments

Requirements

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: technical documentation, requirements documentation, configuration management, or CCB activities.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Jira, SmartBear Collaborator, Microsoft Office, IBM Rational DOORS, and IBM Engineering Lifecycle (Rational Publishing Engine)
  • Experience maintaining and updating customer deliverables
  • Active DoD Security Clearance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
