ServiceNow Developer

Marvel Enterprise Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support the Small Business Administration (SBA) Digital Workplace environment by designing, configuring, scripting, integrating, testing, deploying, and sustaining ServiceNow applications and workflows. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced federal delivery environment. The role requires strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Contingencies:

• Regular telework is expected; onsite attendance will be required periodically based on customer and team needs.
• Must be able to work during Eastern Time core business hours.
• Employment is contingent upon contract award/authorization, customer requirements, and successful completion of required Public Trust processing., * The ServiceNow Developer will provide hands-on development and configuration support across ServiceNow modules, workflows, integrations, and user experiences. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Design, configure, script, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications, catalog items, flows, forms, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
• Support platform modernization using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal, Workspace, App Engine, and approved low-code/no-code capabilities.
• Develop integrations with identity, monitoring, collaboration, data, and enterprise workflow systems using APIs, web services, and secure integration patterns.
• Develop cross-system integrations using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, and related ServiceNow integration technologies.
• Build and maintain scoped ServiceNow applications in support of business and technical requirements.
• Support ServiceNow Application Development and Integration teams with hands-on development, configuration, and integration activities.
• Leverage Now Assist and other ServiceNow AI capabilities, as applicable, to enhance platform workflows and user experiences.
• Translate requirements from product owners and business analysts into maintainable platform configurations and technical designs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, defect resolution, release planning, and production support.
• Document configuration decisions, integration details, deployment steps, and operational procedures.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, enterprise workflow development, or platform implementation.
• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development or administration experience.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.

Desired:

• Experience with ITIL practices, federal service management environments, or ServiceNow product operations.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong ServiceNow development skills including scripting, Flow Designer, catalog development, tables, forms, ACLs, integrations, and application lifecycle practices.
• Experience with JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, web services, data imports, update sets, and scoped applications.
• Strong experience building scoped applications in ServiceNow.
• Hands-on experience developing cross-system integrations using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, and related technologies.
• Experience working as a ServiceNow Developer on Application Development and Integration teams.
• Experience with Now Assist or other ServiceNow AI capabilities.
• Understanding of platform security, role-based access, performance, testing, and release management.
• Ability to troubleshoot defects across configuration, code, data, workflows, integrations, and user experience.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Experience with Automated Test Framework, IntegrationHub, Service Portal, Workspace, App Engine Studio, or CMDB/CSDM.
• Knowledge of Agile, ITIL, DevSecOps, and federal compliance practices.
