Job description
- Conduct non-conformances investigations of advanced digital and analog avionics electronics components including power electronics, actuators, instrumentation, sensors, embedded computers, and digital communications networks.
- Use electrical drawings to troubleshoot test equipment and unit under test
- Work through root cause corrective action
- Assist in requirement decomposition
- Prepare drawings and documentation for manufacturing purposes

- Familiarity with reading engineering drawings, electrical schematics, cable/wiring diagrams, and the corresponding work instructions to produce complex assemblies and provide valuable feedback to program leadership
- Familiarity with requirement decomposition
- Provide rapid integration and troubleshooting support for system-level integration
- Organizational skills to document designs, assist with Technical Data Packages (TDP) and support production and test of the avionics
Preferred Qualifications.
- MS in Electrical Engineering and 0+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production of avionics components
- Knowledge of electronics integration, test, and troubleshooting
- Must have hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and test methods including the use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, etc.
- Knowledge of test development to support troubleshooting hardware failures
- Knowledge of circuit design - analog, digital, power
- Knowledge of National Instruments Software
- Experience in a MIL-STD-810 Test Environment
- Knowledge of ASME and IEEE standards
- Experience supporting DoD programs related to missile systems, reentry vehicles, or hypersonic technologies
- Prior work in assembly, integration, or testing of missile systems.
- Experience supporting rapid development, prototyping, or fast-paced engineering programs.
