CockroachDB Database Administrator

Required Skills Strong knowledge of distributed database architecture, replication, and high-availability concepts. Expert-level experience with CockroachDB administration and cluster management. Expertise in query optimization, database performance tuning, and capacity planning. Strong experience in backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and database monitoring. Good understanding of database security, user management, and access controls. Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Preferred Skills Experience with shell scripting (Bash) or Python for database automation. Experience working in large-scale, high-volume production environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
