Senior IT System Admin Certified Professional (Multiple)

The Senior IT System Admin Certified Professionals are core technical support, responsible for day-today administration, maintenance, and security of JWICS environment.

Responsibilities:

• System & Network Administration:
• Perform daily system administration tasks on Windows and/or Linux servers, including user account management, patching, and applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Tier 1/2 User Support:
• Provide direct support to end-users for technical issues, including VTC setup and troubleshooting, account resets, and software support.
• Escalate complex issues to senior specialists or external vendors as needed.
• Security Operations:
• Monitor security logs, respond to alerts, and assist with incident response and remediation activities.
• Ensure systems are backed up and disaster recovery plans are tested.
• Technical Support:
• Provide skilled technical support across all performance areas as assigned by Team Lead, adapting to emerging technologies and requirements.

Education/Certifications: Current IAT Level II industry certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA, RHCSA, MCSA, etc.)

Years of Experience: 5+ years IT support

Clearance Level & Investigation: TS/SCI

IA Cert Level (DoD 8570.01): IAT Level II, The Senior IT System Admin Certified Professionals require the following minimum qualifications for eligibility:

• Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant IT experience in an enterprise environment.
• Certifications:
• Possess at a minimum current IAT level II, industry-standard certifications relevant to specific duties (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, RHCSA, MCSA).
• Must meet DoD 8570/8140 requirements for assigned role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proven hands-on skills in network and system administration, troubleshooting, COMSEC, and customer support within a secure environment.
• Clearance:
• Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Must be U.S. citizen.
