AWS Serverless Engineer

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across cloud infrastructure, serverless applications, APIs, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll partner closely with Cloud Engineering, Application Development, Security, and Release Engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and automated solutions that support business-critical applications., * Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway

• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, AWS SAM, and CloudFormation
• Develop and support REST APIs and integration services
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Support containerized workloads running in ECS/Fargate environments
• Develop automation and tooling using Python, Node.js, or Java
• Troubleshoot production issues across applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
• Monitor and improve application reliability, performance, and observability
• Partner with development teams to implement cloud-native architecture patterns and best practices
• Contribute to reusable infrastructure templates, deployment standards, and automation frameworks
• Leverage AI-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar technologies to improve productivity and accelerate development

Success in this role requires strong AWS experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to bridge both infrastructure and application development teams., * 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience

• Experience building and supporting solutions using AWS Lambda
• Experience working with API Gateway and REST APIs
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools, preferably Terraform
• Experience using AWS SAM and/or CloudFormation
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
• Development or scripting experience with Python, Node.js, or Java
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across both infrastructure and application layers
• Experience supporting production cloud environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
