Job description

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing data team responsible for building and maintaining modern data solutions that drive business intelligence, analytics, and operational decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to work with large-scale data sets, cloud technologies, and modern data platforms in a highly collaborative environment. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest and transform data from a variety of internal and external sources.
  • Build reliable, high-quality datasets that support reporting, analytics, and business initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including analysts, engineers, and business teams, to deliver data solutions.
  • Develop and optimize data models within cloud-based data warehouse environments.
  • Implement data quality, monitoring, and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Support both batch and near real-time data processing workflows.
  • Contribute to data governance, security, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

Must be able to work collaboratively with teams across Eastern and Central time zones, * 4+ years of Data Engineering experience.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience working with modern data technologies such as Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Informatica IDMC, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting large-scale customer, operational, or transactional data environments.
  • Exposure to API integrations and third-party data sources.
  • Experience supporting analytics, forecasting, personalization, or data science initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only
  • Ability to work remotely within the United States
  • Comfortable collaborating with teams across EST and CST time zones
