Software Engineer

You will operate in all phases and contribute to all activities of the software development process. You will work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, team environment., Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Work with front-end technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML and CSS
• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS platform
• Work with both native (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java) and cross-platform (Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, etc.) frameworks
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality products
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance
• Ensure the security, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer to focus on web and mobile app development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications using Microsoft technologies like C#, .NET and T-SQL as well as experience working with both native (Swift, Kotlin/Java) and cross-platform (Flutter, React Native, or similar) mobile technologies to deliver seamless user experiences., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Experience developing, upgrading and maintaining application software using Microsoft technologies using C# and ASP.NET
• Work with front-end technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML and CSS
• Experience developing and deploying mobile applications on iOS
• Proficiency in native development languages: Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and RESTful APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Haves

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices
• Experience with Bluetooth peripheral integration
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for mobile apps
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge in FDA and ISO design control requirements is a plus

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$124,800.00 - $187,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
