- Systems Engineering background with a solid understanding of system life-cycle processes, requirements engineering, architecture, integration, and verification, including ISO/IEC 15288 and INCOSE
- Ability to gather, synthesize, and prioritize input from diverse stakeholders, including mission planners, engineers, regulators, and customers
- Ability to lead Scrum ceremonies, coach teams in agile practices, and ensure a consistent delivery cadence
- Familiarity with safety and mission certification standards and the ability to embed traceability and verification into the backlog
- Proficiency with metrics dashboards, KPI tracking, and using data to adjust priorities
- Proficiency with JIRA/Confluence, DOORS for requirements traceability, CAMEO, MATLAB/Simulink for sensor modeling, and basic version control with Git is mandatory
- Mission-oriented mindset and experience with sensor suites, such as RADAR and EOS, real-time data acquisition, and control loops are required
- Experience developing or integrating software, for example using Java, Linux, and Git, is a strong plus; understanding of software development, software architecture, and CI/CD concepts to collaborate effectively with software leads is a plus
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or equivalent certification is preferred
- Hands-on experience with DO-278, IEC 61508, MIL-STD-882, ARP4754, or similar safety or mission standards
