Job description
Youâll participate in business requirements, discovery, and process-design sessions with functional SMEs and business users. Youâll plan and facilitate collaborative workshops to understand current processes, user needs, pain points, decision points, handoffs, and improvement opportunities. Youâll create an environment in which business users can actively participate in shaping the future experience. Youâll ask structured questions that help users move from broad ideas or complaints to clearly defined needs, workflows, and design decisions. Youâll synthesize information from interviews, workshops, requirements, and process documentation into clear design insights. Youâll facilitate alignment across business, functional, technical, and delivery stakeholders when needs or priorities differ. Youâll present concepts clearly and guide stakeholders through design decisions and tradeoffs. Service Design and Workflow Definition Youâll develop current-state and future-state user journeys for priority AI use cases. Youâll create service blueprints showing the relationships among users, business processes, technology, data, systems, and supporting teams. Youâll map end-to-end workflows, including user activities, decisions, approvals, handoffs, exceptions, and system interactions. Youâll identify friction points, unnecessary process steps, unclear ownership, and opportunities for automation or AI enablement. Youâll define how users will interact with AI-enabled capabilities, including human review, decision support, escalation, and exception handling. Youâll develop personas or user profiles when needed to distinguish different roles, needs, behaviors, and levels of system access. Youâll ensure proposed experiences reflect how work is actually performed within engineering, construction, and capital project environments. UI/UX Design and Prototyping Youâll translate business processes, user journeys, and workflow requirements into intuitive front-end experiences. Youâll create information architectures, task flows, sketches, wireframes, screen concepts, and high-fidelity interface designs. Youâll develop interactive prototypes in Figma for use in design working sessions, stakeholder reviews, and user validation. Youâll design collaboratively and, where appropriate, in real time with business users. Youâll rapidly incorporate stakeholder feedback and evolve concepts through iterative design cycles. Youâll define page layouts, navigation, interactions, forms, dashboards, notifications, prompts, and other user-interface elements. Youâll design for standard and non-standard scenarios, including empty states, error states, incomplete data, system delays, rejected actions, and process exceptions. Youâll apply appropriate accessibility, consistency, usability, and responsive-design considerations. Youâll use existing design systems and component libraries where available, and help establish reusable patterns where needed. AI Experience Design Youâll design user experiences for AI-enabled use cases in a way that makes the AI understandable, usable, and appropriately integrated into the business process. Youâll define how users provide input, review AI-generated outputs, validate recommendations, make decisions, and provide feedback. Youâll incorporate appropriate human-in-the-loop controls and user confirmation points. Youâll help distinguish where AI should recommend, automate, summarize, flag, or support a decision rather than replace the user. Youâll work with functional and technical stakeholders to ensure AI experience aligns with business rules, available data, technical capabilities, and governance requirements. Youâll make complex AI interactions understandable to users who may not have technical backgrounds. Technical and Development Collaboration Youâll work closely with architects and developers to confirm that proposed designs are technically feasible. Youâll understand relevant systems, data, integration, security, and platform constraints and incorporate them into the design. Youâll translate approved designs into build-ready artifacts for the development team. Youâll provide annotated designs, interaction specifications, component behavior, business rules, and supporting documentation. Youâll partner with functional SMEs to confirm that designs accurately represent business requirements. Youâll support the development of user stories, design acceptance criteria, and backlog items where required. Youâll answer development questions and clarify design intent during solution build. Youâll conduct design reviews and UX quality checks during development to confirm the implemented solution aligns with the approved experience. Youâll help resolve design issues without losing the intended user or business outcome. Delivery and Team Contribution Youâll own assigned design activities and deliverables with limited day-to-day oversight. Youâll manage design priorities across multiple use cases or concurrent activities. Youâll maintain clear documentation of design decisions, assumptions, open questions, dependencies, and stakeholder feedback. Youâll communicate progress, risks, and decisions to Project Leadership. Youâll collaborate effectively within a lean delivery pod and contribute wherever needed to maintain delivery momentum. Youâll balance user desirability, business value, technical feasibility, and delivery constraints. Youâll produce client-ready materials and confidently present designs to both working-level stakeholders and leadership.

WHATâS IN IT FOR YOU
- The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If itâs complex and it matters, itâs on our list.
- You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
- AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. Youâll use it, and youâll help shape it.
- Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
- Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
- Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. Thatâs the point.
- Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENRâs 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Constructionâs Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
